FULL STACK QA ENGINEER – DURBANVILLE

SUMMARY:
Our Client within the Web Hosting realm is currently seeking a Full Stack QA Engineer for their Offices in Durbanville, Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• In-depth understanding of the web technologies & software engineering practices
• BSc or BTech majoring in Computer Science an added advantage
• ISTQB Certification an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.

Proven work experience in:

• Software development.
• Software quality assurance.
• Testing automation.
• Writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Using test management or bug management tools.
• automated testing tools.
• High-level language, preferably Java.
• Performance / security testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL / scripting is a plus.
• Working knowledge of conceptual programming techniques/paradigms i.e OOP and S.O.L.I.D principles.
• Basic understanding of data structures and how to make use of collections within the chosen language.

Desirable:

• Selenium WebDriver/ Automation concepts.
• Maven and TestNG
• Java, C# or another object oriented programming languages
• HTML and CSS
• Git/BitBucket
• Jira or similar
• JMeter, SoapUI, Postman or Insomnia
• IDEs such as Intellij, NetBeans Visual Studio
• Jenkins or similar
