SUMMARY:
Our Client within the Web Hosting realm is currently seeking a Full Stack QA Engineer for their Offices in Durbanville, Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

In-depth understanding of the web technologies & software engineering practices
BSc or BTech majoring in Computer Science an added advantage
ISTQB Certification an added advantage
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.

Proven work experience in:

Software development.
Software quality assurance.
Testing automation.
Writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Using test management or bug management tools.
automated testing tools.
High-level language, preferably Java.
Performance / security testing is a plus.
Knowledge of SQL / scripting is a plus.
Working knowledge of conceptual programming techniques/paradigms i.e OOP and S.O.L.I.D principles.
Basic understanding of data structures and how to make use of collections within the chosen language.

Desirable:

Selenium WebDriver/ Automation concepts.
Maven and TestNG
Java, C# or another object oriented programming languages
HTML and CSS
Git/BitBucket
Jira or similar
JMeter, SoapUI, Postman or Insomnia
IDEs such as Intellij, NetBeans Visual Studio
Jenkins or similar
