Established privately-owned South African SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) company specializing in digital, cloud-based, Workflow, and Document Management Solutions for over 10 years, seeks a Full Stack Team Lead.

We are looking for a senior full stack developer for the role of team lead within the organisation with solid Linux, PHP, Javascript, Jquery, HTML, CSS, MySQL, GIT, and AWS experience. The right candidate must be passionate about technology, and ready to hit the ground running in a challenging role with varying responsibilities. The role requires creativity, initiative, and the ability to problem-solve independently, but also interact with a team as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

To architect, develop, and evolve the existing cloud platform, while maintaining security, scalability, and ease of deployment

To assist in the design and implementation of new products

To manage a team of developers in maintaining the efficient operation of the business''s core products

To Understand and use best practices in coding and testing code

To ensure correct database design, administration, replication, and redundancy

To document processes and improve existing systems literature

To develop and ensure interoperability between systems using RESTful API standards

Desired Experience & Qualification

BSc/MSc level degree - Comp Sci, Engineering, Information Systems, or similar

10+ years experience as a software developer

3+ years experience with Amazon Web Services cloud infrastructure

Proven track record designing and owning a scalable enterprise cloud platform

Experience managing a team of developers

Strong communication skills essential

Linux, PHP, Javascript, Jquery, HTML, CSS, MySQL, GIT, AWS
