Facilities Co-ordinator

SUMMARY:
Our client, an international Real Estate and Property company, is looking for a Facilities Coordinator for one of their sites in New Cairo.

POSITION INFO:
The Facilities Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and cost-effective operation of corporate and commercial real estate properties.

This position is responsible for coordinating facility maintenance activities, managing staff and vendor relationships, service contracts, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The role also supports financial oversight by monitoring budgets, tracking expenditures, and assisting with financial reporting to ensure alignment with organizational goals and lease requirements. A strong focus on operational efficiency, cost control, and service quality is essential to success in this role.

Key responsibilities:

• Support FM Manager with management of all services at all locations (i.e. soft services, hard services, security, HSE, …etc) and act as a local support/backup to the site lead
• Support FM Manager with Continuous Improvement Tracker updates and ideas
• Walk through the office on scheduled inspections and provide quality control in all areas within each office, and report any issues to FM
• Ensuring all issues are closed in a timely manner with regular updates to management
  Maintain security and safety standards as required at all locations, including compliance with security policies, ensuring that visitors are escorted, and contractors do not have access to areas without the appropriate authorization or supervision
• Manage consumables at all locations, tracking when it's needed and how to minimize excess usage
  Assignment management by requiring competitive vendor quotes, ensuring POs are approved, created, and closed, invoices are submitted and vendor invoices are submitted

• A bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Experience in a customer facing role - min 1 year
• Very good command of both Arabic and English languages
• Administration and financial experience
• Leadership skills and proactive reaction
• Computer literate, preferably some data entry experience
• Extremely presentable
