JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established retirement village that offers various facilities in a safe environment to their residence, have a vacancy available for a suitably qualified Facilities Manager. The successful candidate will report directly to the Homeowners Association.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Maintaining the Village’s physical infrastructure
Regular inspections of all facilities, buildings, and the common areas
Execution of scheduled and assigned tasks
Obtaining quotations for maintenance and repairs
Oversee any maintenance conducted on and around the property
Administration and management of subordinate staff

Requirements:

Grade 12 certificate and any relevant qualification
Valid driver’s license
Bilingual in both Afrikaans and English
Good written and verbal communication skills
Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
Previous experience in managing and maintenance of facilities estates and retirement villages are essential
