SUMMARY:
We are currently partnering with a leading Healthcare company to source a highly skilled Facility Manager with a strong background in HVAC systems and utilities maintenance. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic operation and contribute to the smooth functioning of critical site infrastructure in a challenging and rewarding environment.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all facility infrastructure, with a focus on HVAC systems, power distribution, water systems, and other utilities.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Lead and supervise maintenance teams, contractors, and service providers.
- Ensure that all work complies with safety, health, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Monitor facility budgets, procurement, and reporting.
- Coordinate with site operations to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
- Participate in audits and ensure documentation and compliance for all mechanical and utilities systems.
Requirements:- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities or utilities management within the mining or heavy industrial sector.
- Proven hands-on experience with HVAC systems, utilities (power, water, and compressed air), and building maintenance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of applicable safety and environmental standards.
- Ability to work in remote or site-based environments on a rostered basis (if required).
