SUMMARY:
Our dedicated and target driven client who is one of the worldÃ¢Â€Â™s most international courier and package delivery company is seeking a Facility manager to join their remarkable team who embraces diversity, collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence.

POSITION INFO:

Focus and experience areas are the following:

Space planning and design
Property and lease management
Maintenance and repairs
Asset Management
SHE
Green Initiatives
AutoCAD experience
Strong Project Management (including types and values)
Good team management skills
Vendor management
Good negotiator

Candidate requirements:

Degree in facility management or similar;
Minimum of 5 -7 years in Facilities Management & Project Management;
Registration with The South African Facilities Management Association (SAFMA) an added advantage
Valid driver’s licence – minimum 2 years; with own reliable transport.
Evidence of strong negotiating and decision-making capability.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including MS Projects.
Proficient in Auto CAD Advanced 2D.
Good Understanding of Health & Safety and Workplace Risk analysis and Standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and good understanding of the necessary principles of mechanical and electrical requirements.
Good interpersonal skills, ability to coordinate independent teams to ensure desired results are achieved and strong independent work ethic.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to follow up diligently and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
