SUMMARY:
Job Title: Factory Assistant
Location: Sunderland Ridge in Centurion
Remuneration: R10 000 to R13 000 per month

Our client in Sunderland Ridge in Centurion is looking for a Factory Assistant with Food Manufacturing and Food Safety work experience. This position will be responsible for 24 employees, which consist of Drivers, Driver Assistants, Pickers and Packers, and Factory Staff.

Working Hours will be Monday to Thursday: 07:30 am to 17:00 pm and Friday: 07:30 am to 14:30 pm.

Required qualification and working knowledge:

Matric
Own Car and Valid Drivers License
Forklift License
We are looking for 2 to 7 years of work experience in Food Manufacturing and Food Safety, with experience in supervising and leading a team of Factory Staff.
We are looking for 5 years of experience in a Factory, Plant, Warehouse, or Logistics environment within Food Manufacturing.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities:

Daily receiving of consignment, stock, and products
Daily vehicle recon of consignment, stock, and products received
Daily end-of-shift stock count
Daily dispatch of consignment, stock, and products
Ensure and oversee proper housekeeping to ensure food safety in the Factory
Assist with Food Safety Implementation
Ensure cages are picked and packed daily as per the order and delivery schedule
Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in the Factory
Daily diesel usage capturing
Daily supervision and management of the Factory Staff
Overtime management
Opening and closing of the premises
