JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, a global manufacturing concern, currently seeks a Factory Finance Manager, to lead all financial activities, including making available accurate information concerning the financial performance of the Factory and managing all performance management aspects of direct reports. The position will be based at the Factory.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Job Requirements:

CA (SA) or similar International qualification.
CIMA preferable.
Min 5 years post-qualified experience.
Manufacturing/Automotive industry experience.
Costing and management accounts experience.
Strong SAP experience essential.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and report on financial information to Director: Finance, Mancom and parent company.
Deliver accurate information concerning the financial performance of the factory and influence business decision-making in this regard.
Prepare financial forecasts for the factory, including scenario calculations.
Analyse the financial results against budget and provide commentary.
Prepare and report on the factory budget.
Prepare and report on the factory 5-year (mid-term plan).
Chair the cost meeting, drive cost control and report on all cost saving initiatives.
Costing for new and existing products.
Review the financial implication of all factory inventory adjustments (inventory verification) and drive adherence to inventory governance.
Review the monthly WIP movements and drive governance around, e.g. confirmations and monthly recovery.
Review the factory Return-On-Investment.
Update and execute the factory finance strategy and ensure alignment to the company strategy.
Ensure that all accounting activities for the factory are executed according to the appropriate regulations.
Provide leadership and direction to the Factory Finance team, i.e. career planning, KRA setting, training & development and performance feedback.
