SUMMARY:
Factory manager required for a start-up company located in Limpopo. The core business will be the production of Achaar, of all types (mangoes, vegetables).
POSITION INFO:
Factory manager required for a start-up company located in Limpopo. The core business will be the production of Achaar, of all types (mangoes, vegetables).
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a factory manager.
Will be required to manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the factory and reporting to a Board of Directors. Must know and implement all regulatory requirements (health; safety and all other requirements) associated with food production.
As this is a start-up company the successful candidate will be required to make input into the initial design and layout of the factory
Candidates with experience in sales and marketing, and relationships with the big 5 supermarket chain will be preferred.
The candidate must demonstrate an ability to care for, mentor, and develop staff.
Must also demonstrate the ability to automate and refine processes and controls.
The candidate must also demonstrate experience in work study and how to use work study to improve processes, quality, and stock control.
A market-related salary together with performance and target based incentives will be offered.
