POSITION INFO:

Our client in the FMCG industry is looking for a Factory Manager to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Managing the performance of each employee and outsourced labor providers.
* Sustaining current market position and growing market share.
* Creating business plans to support the company’s financial objectives.
* Supporting sales teams and key account managers in retention of existing customers.
* Defining and executing short and long-term strategic goals and developing clear plans to implement them.
* Improving internal processes and ensuring employees work as a cohesive unit.
* Anticipate client needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
* Maintain and enhance the use of information management systems across all factory functions.
* Facility costs against budget, initiating corrective action as necessary.
* Assessing facility needs and performance.
* Assist in the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, and development of facility staff.
* Assist in the development and implementation of individual performance scorecards.
* Maintain and enhance professional and technical knowledge.
* To ensure that personal behavior reflects the company values.
* Prepare relevant correspondence, reports, and manuals covering operations, production, maintenance, safety, and security.
* Maintain the physical condition of the facility and all aspects therein.
* Facility optimization and efficiencies.

Qualifications

* Relevant Degree.
* 10 years of relevant factory/manufacturing experience (FMCG).
* 5 years of solid management experience.
* Build and lead successful teams.
* Achieve targets in a dynamic and competitive business environment.
* Successfully manage a diverse group of employees.
* Build and nurture trust with teams, customers and suppliers.
* Knowledge of Production Management .
* Knowledge of Warehouse & Distribution.
* Knowledge of Holistic Facility Management .
* Knowledge of the FMCG environment.
* Knowledge of Food products .
* Knowledge of labour relations and industrial relations.
* Must be computer literate in Word, Excel, Email and Internet.
