JOB SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity that offers tremendous career growth within the manufacturing industry where you will be responsible for the manufacturing of new products and supplying the building industry. JOB DESCRIPTION:

Overall equipment effectiveness analysis
Identify and reduce six bug losses such as breakdowns, setup/adjustments, small stops, reduced speed. Start-up rejects and production rejects.
Control all resources and processes to maximize productivity in terms of production volumes, yields and costs
Ensure daily targets are met
Implement total productive maintenance
Maintain housekeeping/ health and safety within the factory
Material and process management applying lean manufacturing principles (time studies, assembly charts, flow diagrams, flow process charts, assembly and exploded drawings)

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 8+ years in the manufacturing industry
Understanding of CNC Machining and foundries
Understanding cost accounting or willingness to learn will be advantageous

Qualification:
BEng/BSc/Btech in Mechanical Engineering or Millwright/fitter and turner trade test

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
