SUMMARY:
Great opportunity for experienced Factory Manager

POSITION INFO:

A great opportunity has come up for a Factory Manager to lead and manage the start to end running of a leading FMCG concern; encompassing all disciplines.

Purpose and Objectives

The incumbent will holistically take responsibility and accountability for all operational aspects of the Facility; driving efficiency and optimization of the Business Unit.

Minimum requirements:

Relevant degree
Minimum 10 years experience in a FMCG
Minimum 5 years management experience

Key Performance Areas

· Lead and manage the Facility against agreed KPI’s

· Optimize the movement and production of products at the Facility

· Develop and implement the necessary systems, processes and procedures at the Facility

· Manage and optimize all costs and efficiencies

· Maintain Company Assets and the Facility

· Plan for Production and Warehousing and Distribution growth needs

· Lead and develop a high performing team

· Build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

· Ensure Legislative and Auditory Compliance (ISO45000, FSSC22000, ISO14000, ISO55000, etc.) environment

· Planning and execution of factory projects according to agreed budgets, outcomes and timelines

Key Job Functions

· Managing the performance of each employee and outsourced labour providers.

· Sustaining current market position and growing market share.

· Creating business plans to support the company’s financial objectives.

· Supporting sales teams and key account managers in retention of existing customers.

· Defining and executing short and long-term strategic goals and developing clear plans to implement them.

· Improving internal processes and ensuring employees work as a cohesive unit.

· Anticipate client needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.

· Maintain and enhance the use of information management systems across all factory functions.
