POSITION INFO:

Our client in the manufacturing / production industry is seeking a well experience Factory Manager to join the team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing day-to-day factory operations, including production scheduling, quality control, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Overseeing all aspects of production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
• Developing and implementing production schedules and strategies to optimize output and minimize downtime
• Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement
• Managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring adequate stock levels at all times
• Leading and supervising a team of production staff, providing training and support as needed
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and implementing best practices to create a safe working environment
• Collaborating with other departments, such as supply chain and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and increase efficiency

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant Degree: Engineering / Production or Operations
• Qualified Artisan
• Min 10 Years experience in a technical manufacturing environment
• CMC Milling and Lathe programmes essential
• Must have previous experience on Drafting Software, AutoCad or Inventor
• Reliable Transport
