Farm Manager

Company situated 15km from Pietermaritzburg is seeking an experienced Farm Manager to join their team!

The following skills will be required:

• A working knowledge of Zulu is essential
• Oral and Written Communication
• Organizational
• Time Management
• Attention to detail
• Computer literacy
• Minimum code EB driver’s licence (non-endorsed)

The desired applicant must have a diploma from an agricultural college and have at least 5 years’ experience in a senior supervisory role.

The chosen applicant will be responsible for, inter alia,

• Allocation of daily tasks and supervision of employees
• General farm duties, including but not limited to, growing and ensiling hybrid grasses
• The general management of the infrastructure matters, including but not limited to all routine housekeeping, e.g., water reticulation, irrigation and drainage, road surfaces etc.
