SUMMARY:
Our remarkable client in the EdTech sector (Start-up) requires a Field Sales Team Lead, Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:

Objective

Research and develop strategies, plan, and identify sales opportunities and coordinate Field Sales Executives in the region to exploit such opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage Field Sales Executives and agents in the region as well as set specific targets while following through closely.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referral-based strategies.
  • Understand customer’s business and how to leverage technologies to assist in optimization.
  • Develop and submit comprehensive proposals based on assessed needs of potential clients.
  • Lead the overall process for setting an established price for the customer and lead the process of working to a final agreed upon amount upon request from the customer.
  • Use a consultative selling approach to properly qualify and align the needs of the customers.
  • Present the highest level of professionalism and passion through presentations, marketing material/events, quotes & proposals.
  • Build and maintain positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors and potential partner organizations.
  • Lead the Sales Team and evaluate and report individual and collective performance outcomes
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Skills and Qualification

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with at least three years’ experience selling Edtech solutions or financial services/FinTech to businesses and enterprises required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and lead well at all levels.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • Excellent presentation skills, large and small groups.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
