POSITION INFO:

Field Service Manager – Medical Devices

Preference will be given to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirements.

Location: Johannesburg

Position Overview:

A reputable global medical device manufacturing company requires the services of a skilled Field Service Manager based in Johannesburg.

The Field Service Manager is responsible for driving FSE field activity and performance across South Africa.

The Field Service Manager assumes ownership of customer satisfaction for the team’s activities including team development, growth, and profitability of service activities in the region.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience Required:

A completed Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Engineering
Minimum of 5+ years relevant Field Service experience
A minimum of 5+ years Team Management experience, ideally management of a large territory with remotely dispersed employee base
Experience in Life Science and/or Medical Diagnostics industry or knowledge of Laboratory Workflow
Frequent National and occasional International Travel
Fluent in English

Physical Requirements/Abilities:

Must be able to lift 20 kgs
Must be able to stand for several hours

(Work may involve repetitive arm/wrist motions)
