Field Service Supervisor

SUMMARY:
An opportunity exists for a highly motivated Field Services Supervisor to ensure maintenance and service related duties on Customer Sites, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and provide technical support to internal staff and exceptional services to customers.

POSITION INFO:

Job Requirements:

Minimum experince:

• 5-10 years field services experience
• Must have solid experience in pump applications
• Safety training or awareness
• Maintenance planning and management in a production environment

Minimum qualification:

• Grade 12 or N3 Certificate or equivalent
• Qualified: Fitter / Fitter & Turner / Millwright (Verified Section 13 / 26D qualification)
• Valid SA driver’s license- code 08

Key Tasks:

• Liaise with Customers
• Ensure growth within the Field Services department
• Control projects and or trails from start to finish
• Propose trails to different clients
•  Supervise the workforce ensuring that they are performing their tasks as required
•  Be able to produce daily feedback reports on Field Services
• Control tooling and safety gear
• Ensure 100% safe compliance to Weir and Mine standards and procedures
• Control the consumables to prevent unnecessary wastage.
• Perform standby duties when required and be available as per requests
• Assist in resolving customer related problems
• Perform RCA’s on failed equipment
• Manage normal and overtime worked by Field Services
• Ensure that workers are complying with safe working procedures and assist with the up keep of HSE regulations on site / permits and contractors’ packs
• Adhere to Weir group HSE and disciplinary procedures at all times
• Stock management
