Overview:
A respected client in the medical equipment industry is seeking an experienced and reliable Field Service Technician to join their team. This role involves the repair, maintenance, and servicing of a wide range of medical equipment at client facilities across Gauteng. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently, in line with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform on-site repairs, preventative maintenance, and annual servicing of medical equipment

Diagnose and resolve technical faults and malfunctions

Complete detailed service and maintenance reports accurately and on time

Ensure all equipment is compliant with relevant health and safety standards

Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients

Travel to healthcare facilities and other client sites throughout Gauteng for scheduled and emergency service calls
Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar field service role

Relevant technical qualification (e.g., National Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Technology, or similar)

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within Gauteng

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
