SUMMARY:
Our client in the telecom sector is seeking a FinTech Infrastructure and Cloud Operations (Senior Manager) on a contract duration of 6 to 12 months.

POSITION INFO:
Education:

4-year Information Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Engineering (or related) Degree
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification Foundation or Expert v3 / Managing Professional/Master (Preferred)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Azure Cloud Architect expert is a must , CCSP and/or CISSP id beneficial
Network related certification CCNA, CCNP or similar Experience:
Minimum of 15+ years of experience in IT Service Operations and/or Support functions
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in technology covering Fintech, Financial Services, insurance, banking, mobile money 5-7 years in cloud computing (Azure). Must
3-5 Years in Alibaba cloud experience.
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and tools (Bicep preferred)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration with IaC tools (experience with Azure DevOps preferred)
Familiarity with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) concepts
Experience in Network operation (routing, Firewalls, Load Balancers)
Hands on experience in managing, leading IT Operations in a multi country environment
Entrepreneurial spirit, self-driven and ability to motivate a fast-paced team
Worked across diverse cultures and geographies
Pan Africa multi-cultural experience is advantageous Competencies
Experience in Server, storage and Database infrastructure operation (Dell, HP, RedHat, Windows Servers, Oracle)
