SUMMARY:
A large group in the milling and agriculture sector is looking for a suitably qualified financial manager with extensive staff management experience to join the team. The incumbent will be responsible for Responsible for the management of the financial department, as well as the reporting of financial results.
POSITION INFO:
Requirements
• Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA)
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience
• Industry experience will serve as recommendation
• Ability to function independently within a team and accept responsibility
• Strong administrative, numeracy and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the management of personnel
• Good computer literacy and ability to function at an advanced level of excel
Duties And Responsibilities
• Financial administration
• Monthly management statements
• Year-end financial statements
• Annual budget
• Board of Directors’ reports
• Ledger and management information system maintenance
• Costing and cost analysis
• Evaluate projects
• Treasury function
• Overall management of debtors’ and creditors’ function
• Risk management
• Supervision and performance management of subordinates
• System refinement and development
• Training
• Continuous evaluation of business practices
• Responsible for tax related issues (including but not limited to VAT, current and dividend tax)
• Any ad-hoc related tasks
