SUMMARY:
A progressive financial services company is looking for a Finance, Accounting and Tax Manager to join their expanding team. The main purpose of this role will be to manage the companyÃ¢Â€Â™s accounting and tax departments.

Minimum Requirements:

BCOM Accounting and HDIP tax (preference – Chartered Accountant)
SMME / audit firm practice experience (10 years +)
Strong leadership qualities
The ability to self-motivate and work independently
The ability to work harmoniously in a team
The ability to work accurately under pressure

Key Performance Areas (Responsibilities):

The Finance, Accounting and Tax Manager’s duties shall include, but not be limited to:

Reviewing and signing off on annual accounts, financial statements and management reporting (internal and clients)
Checking, reviewing, and signing off on Tax/VAT/EMP returns
Checking deferred and current tax calculations
Managing individual productivity of staff and agreed budget with client for engagement
Overview of monthly billing procedure (write offs/WIP)
Streamlining processes and procedures. Implement systems and increase efficiencies.
Building and maintaining relations with clients
Growing client base by identifying opportunities
Managing the teams, ensuring strong interdepartmental communication and liaising with HR
