Finance & Accounts Clerk – Debtors | eThekwini Durban

Salary: R16K CTC, Permanent

Purpose of Position:

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Finance and Accounts Clerk (Debtors) for a permanent position based in Westville, eThekwini, Durban, Kwazulu Natal.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Degree/Diploma in a finance related field.
Experience in financial, administrative, and clerical services.
2 years minimum experience in similar role.

Debtors (Domestic):

Issuing month-end statement to the customers
Mailing invoices to the customers and resolving query if any arising of them
Closing domestic sales after receiving proof of delivery
Help marketing in debit notes/ credit notes to clear the query
Initiating and conducting a fortnightly meeting to discuss overdue receivable with domestic marketing.
Helping to resolve customer returns/ query related to price etc.
Enters all domestic receipts from customers and allocates the funds received to individual invoices

Insurance (Credit Risk):

Maintaining adequate credit risk insurance for all domestic sales
Liaising with the insurer should there be an event of default by customer or for adding a new customer
Monthly declaration of the exposure to the insurer and ensuring monthly premium are calculated correctly.
