About the position:

Our Client is looking to appoint a Finance Administrator who will take control of all financial, accounting and administrative duties. The goal of this appointment is not only to record the daily transactions, but to examine and develop financial intelligence, which can be used as a base for business decisions. You will be fully responsible for recording all financial activity, monitoring the accuracy, presenting useable management reports and ultimately adding value with regards to cash flow forecasts and control.

Responsibilities:

Posting monthly activity to Sage/Pastel - capture receipts and payments, reconcile accounts
Detailed Ledger maintenance up to Trial Balance
Fixed Asset Register
Customers – invoicing, reconciliation of accounts, follow ups, currency revaluation
Suppliers - capture invoices, reconciliation of accounts, prepare payment lists and arrange payments
Monthly reports
Cash flow, budget and forecasts – (strong mentorship will be provided)
Assist with general administrative value added services

Qualifications, Technical Knowledge and Experience required:

You will have a natural feel for figures, a curious mind and a collaborative team approach
Excellent communications skills in English (written and verbal) considered very important
Wine industry experience would be a plus, but not essential
You will contribute to the decision-making within the business
You will also enjoy ongoing training and development support, to help further your career and build your skills
2 - 5 Years business experience
Own transport

System Skills required:

Sage and/or Pastel
Good Excel experience
