Great opportunity to join a company in the Renewable Energy sector as a Finance Assistant. This role is based in Cape Town. 

This role is suited to a university graduate with 3+ years' experience in bookkeeping and accounting. The person must be smart, driven, curious and meticulous, with strong MS Excel skills. Exposure to Renewable Energy / Construction / Engineering / Mining industries would be preferred. 

This role would work on all South African entities, which include the holding company, development company, and all project companies. Areas of the role include: 

• Invoice Processing (supplier invoices, employee expenses)
• Payment Processing (prepare and export batches) 
• Accounting & Reporting 
• Systems & Internal Controls (user testing, designing, and implementing new internal controls)
• Ad hoc projects
