My client, a leading player in the destination management and tourism industry, is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their dynamic finance team in Bryanston. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with strong reporting skills and a passion for numbers to contribute to the financial accuracy and operational efficiency of a fast-paced organization.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the Financial Reporting Manager with financials and reporting.
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financials.
* Extract and analyze Tourplan reports to assess booking costs and profit margins.
* Generate and monitor weekly financial and operational reports.
* Conduct intercompany transactions to clear flight expenses.
* Prepare profit and loss statements and analyze results.
* Monitor debtor aging, manage monthly claims to agents, and assist with collections.
* Compile financial reviews for internal and external stakeholders.
* Support audit processes and respond to operational finance queries.

Qualifications & Skills Required

* Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
* At least 1 year of relevant experience in financial reporting.
* Proficient in Sage 300 or similar accounting software.
* Strong Excel skills (intermediate level or above).
* Solid understanding of financial principles and reporting.
* Excellent communication skills and business acumen.
* Tourplan system knowledge would be highly advantageous.
