JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is a rental portfolio business in N/S of Cape Town looking for an immediately available, experienced Finance Clerk / Junior Accountant with a keen eye for details, strong math skills and the ability to multi-task efficiently. You need to be trustworthy and an excellent communicator.
Your goal will be to ensure the accounting procedures run smoothly.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

DUTIES:

Capture bills on Excel
Debtors / Creditors
Enter data and maintain updated records
Generate and send statements
Resolve accounting issues
Ensure documents are dually signed and distributed
Verify financial and other data
Report status of accounts and discrepancies

REQUIREMENT:

Grade 12 or equivalent
Experience as a Finance Clerk
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and financial transactions
Familiar with financial regulations, i.e. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Knowledge of MS Office and Pastel Evolution – non negotiable
Attention to detail
Organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Reliability and strong work ethics
Able to solve problems
