Finance Director

The role is part of the senior management group of the business with specific responsibilities to manage the financial control, management reporting, and analysis, planning, process, systems, and general financial business administration of the operation ensuring that the business is profitable and that all business activities are costed and add value to the organization.

The purpose of the FD position is to Lead, guide, mentor and coach the Finance team to ensure that they act as the commercial guardians of the business by ensuring that correct Governance is adhered to and activities are undertaken in a profitable way that benefits the growth agenda of the organization.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS 

• Either CPA or CIMA (Professional accounting certification)
• Degree in any business or finance-related discipline
• At least 8 years + in a senior leadership position and solid working experience across all core areas of finance including reporting, financial accounting, cost control, and commercial finance.
• Detailed working knowledge of ERP software (ideally MSD or SAP)
• Understanding of the model of profit-sharing
• People management
