SUMMARY:
DUR002110 – FINANCE MANAGER – CLAREMONT, CPT

Purpose of the job
The purpose of the Finance Manager role is to provide leadership, direction, and management to the finance and accounting teams within the Group. This includes overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring meaningful monthly management accounts, developing, and implementing financial strategies, and producing relevant financial reports.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum in Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Management Accounting.
Certified Accountant (CA) qualification – Advantageous.

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Responsibilities

Relevant managerial experience in a commercial/operational environment.
Experience managing a finance team.
Knowledge of Xero Accounting.
Plan and coordinate the external audit process.
Review annual financial statements of all entities.
Identify, develop & implement effective work processes, procedures, and controls.
Develop financial goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for operational efficiency.
Experience setting budgets for each company and division.
Analyse monthly accounts and produce financial reports.
Oversee preparation of all financial reporting.
Manage actual budget against approved budget.
Must be fluent in English.
