You will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial compliance, driving reporting accuracy, managing payroll processes, and delivering meaningful insights to the Board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit all statutory returns, including SARS (EMP201, VAT201, IRP6, and income tax), UIF, provident funds, and regulatory submissions
• Compile and distribute monthly management accounts, including VAT reconciliations, IT14SD reconciliations, and related party reporting
• Manage the full payroll function, including salary processing, inter-company transactions, and payroll journals
• Oversee financial records and journals using financial systems such as Pastel/Palladium
• Prepare monthly cash flows, review files, and assist with annual financial statements and independent reviews
• Handle SARS eFiling queries and maintain tax compliance status
• Ensure full financial compliance across multiple entities within the group structure
• Present monthly financial reports to the Board and provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making

• Education:
  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional qualification (CA(SA) or equivalent) is highly advantageous
• Experience:
  
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financial management role
  • Proven experience managing multi-entity or group structures
  • Strong background in tax compliance, payroll, and statutory reporting
  • Experience in preparing management accounts and Board-level reporting
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capability
• Skills & Technical Requirements:
  
  • Advanced proficiency in Pastel/Palladium and payroll systems
  • Strong knowledge of South African tax legislation and compliance requirements
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
