POSITION INFO:
Job Description: The successful candidate will take ownership of the full financial management function, ensuring accurate reporting while providing strategic insights to stakeholders. You will lead management reporting across the entity, including monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and group reporting submissions. The role requires strong business partnering with actuarial and finance teams, supporting cost allocation processes, budgeting, forecasting, and driving financial performance across the business. You will be responsible for VAT submissions, tax calculations, and ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and regulatory requirements. Additional responsibilities include maintaining robust financial controls, overseeing reconciliations, managing intercompany balances, reviewing team output, and supporting internal and external audits. You will also play a key leadership role in strengthening processes, improving efficiencies, and guiding junior finance team members. Skills & Experience: Qualified CA(SA) with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience Strong IFRS knowledge, including exposure to IFRS 4 and IFRS 17 advantageous Experience in financial reporting, control, and business partnering Proven leadership or team management experience Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience with Sage X3 advantageous Qualification: CA(SA) - SAICA membership is essential Connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Financial recruitment vacancies.
