POSITION INFO:
A well-established and highly regarded organisation within the agricultural sector is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function for one of its operations in the Western Cape. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with operational leaders, influencing business decisions, and contributing beyond traditional financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Take full ownership of the finance function for the operation. Prepare and present accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports. Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning processes. Analyse financial and operational performance to provide meaningful business insights. Partner with operational management to identify efficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and profitability improvements. Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management. Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and financial reporting requirements. Maintain strong financial controls and governance processes. Support decision-making through detailed financial analysis and reporting. Contribute to the overall business strategy through commercial finance leadership Job Experience and Skills Required: Registered CA(SA) qualification is essential. 2-3 years' post-articles experience. Previous experience in a Finance Manager or similar commercial finance role. Agriculture industry exposure will be advantageous. SAP experience is essential. Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting experience. Excellent commercial acumen and analytical skills. Ability to engage effectively with operational and executive stakeholders.
