SUMMARY:
Our client, a conglomerate entity based in Johannesburg, is currently looking for a Financial Manager to join their pioneering team.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Commerce
MBA qualification or an advanced Financial Professional Qualification

Skills:

Minimum of 8 years of experience within an international entity, of which atleast 3 years in management position.
Comprehensive working experience in accounting, budgeting and planning
Experience in internal control and tax
Basic knowledge of US GAAP
Experience with SAP FI/CO

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Manage external audits, and filing of all taxes (CIT, VAT and Custom)
Assist the Finance General Manager in executing long-term strategic plans to improve and retain company performance.
Compliance with tax legislation, Companies Act, IAS and IFRS, group accounting policies and governance frameworks.
Maintain Profitability Monitoring tool to calculate/track/change Transfer Prices and support the filing of TP reports to authorities.
Liaison with external auditors, IDC Investment Analyst, Finance Divisions, Tax Authorities, External Vendors, and Head Office Consolidation Department.
Financial monitoring and reliable and trustworthy financial statements, tax compliance and the introduction of effective management accounting systems.
Daily financial accounting and control management to long term compliance and financial system and process implementations.
