A multinational concern with a keen focus in marketing is looking for an assertive, confident, and energetic CA (SA) to join their team as a Finance Manager.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Group Finance Manager and CFO in overseeing all aspects of the management of financial activities, practices, including budget preparation, financial reports, and audit functions. The Finance Manager will oversee a team of accounting clerks as well as prepare month-end closing, maintain the general ledger, month-end and year-end reporting. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing budgets, forecasts and the profit and loss statements.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

CA (SA)
Big 4 audit experience would be advantageous

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 3-5 years’ post article/commercial experience
At least 2 years of managerial experience
Strong knowledge of financial reporting
Working knowledge of accounting and reporting systems
Strong knowledge of classic controlling instruments
String analytical skills
Deadline driven
Confident and assertive
Ability to investigate and respond to queries successfully and expediently
