SUMMARY:
A newly formed South African brand in the FMCG space is currently going through an accelerated growth phase and is looking for a skilled, high-energy Finance Manager with an entrepreneurial mindset to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:

Reporting to the General Manager for South Africa, responsibilities will include the overall accountability for the finance function in the South Africa region as well as overseeing the shared service delivery to offshore businesses. General accountabilities will also include cashflow management, process and procedure as well as value optimisation.

A high-energy individual who is not afraid to get their hands dirty by being part of a growing start-up is crucial for this role. The opportunity to grow and develop in multiple spheres is available as the company goes through this accelerated growth-phase to be a global player and leader.
Responsibilities
· Financial leadership
· Overall financial accountability including process, procedure and control
· Budgeting and forecasting
·    Cashflow management including managing trade finance
partners and fund flows
· Financial input to commercial decision making
·     Monthly reporting to management and shareholders
·      Management of organisation IT environment
·      Company Secretarial (CIPC)
·       Transfer pricing
·       Insurance, including credit insurance
·       Regulatory reporting (VAT, PAYE)
·        Procurement of key imported raw materials for the organisation
Requirements
·    CA(SA) or equivalent Financial Qualification
·     Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a manufacturing/FMCG is a must
· Strong Commercial acumen
·      Proven experience in handling all aspects of finance, financial reporting and management
· Natural leadership skills as this role is a key function within the business and will be responsible for transferring knowledge

Advanced Excel skillset with the ability to quickly capture and manipulate data (including the use of vlookups and pivot tables) are an absolute must!
