Finance Manager

SUMMARY:
A large conglomerate of companies operating within various industries is currently looking for a new Financial Manager to join their finance team based in the East of Johannesburg. If you are the ideal candidate for this vacancy, please apply!

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant CA(SA) qualification and/or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) designation
• Minimum 5 years’ working experience involving Shared Services and/or Group Financial Management at a managerial level
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are highly advantageous

Job description & Skills:

• Ensuring that financial records and financial reports are accurately compiled and efficiently managed while maintain the data integrity of the information systems
• Providing budgets, forecasts, and net working for capital projects for the portfolio of companies
• Developing and implementing systems, controls, and processes by continuously evaluating business operations and valuing of input for key financial decisions taken
• Managing and facilitating the achievement of the prescribed Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA)
• Improving the Cash Conversion Cycle (Working Capital Days)
• Liaising with relevant auditors and assisting with duties and/or tasks required for the fulfilment of successful audit by reducing internal and external audit management report issues
• Managing administration for the department as well assisting with the related general auxiliary support functions
• Facilitating staff training and development while maintaining an environment that promotes improved efficiencies, best practices, innovation, and employee excellence within the company
