SUMMARY:
A FinTech start-up specializing in SME Market Lending is going through a massive and exciting growth phase and is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team of passionate individuals.

POSITION INFO:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for office management functions in terms of financial record-keeping for the business, the finance function (compliance and Fund-raising as well as agreements and non-agreements, and treasury), leading a team

Key Requirements:

BCom Finance/ Accounting, preferably with honors
5 years experience working within a small/medium financial services firm
3-5 years of office management experience is crucial
Knowledge and competency in accounting principles
Experience with Business to Business marketing
Experience within lending firms would be advantageous
Experience with cash flow forecasting and cash management
Ability to develop financial models
Experience in treasury management
Excellent stakeholder engagement
Ability to develop controls within an organization- risk audits, understanding of broader business processes, updating of documents, reviewing and establishing controls

Responsibilities:

Preparation of invoices
Recording of Payments
Management of business expenses
Analyzing financial activities of the business
Ensuring compliance is maintained with accounting and legal requirements
Preparing budgets regularly
Monitoring expenditure and profits
Creation, providing, and delivery of reports

Responsibilities will not be limited to the above and other skillsets will be advantageous.
