POSITION INFO:

Rare opportunity to join a strong Asset Management team in a Finance Manager role. This is a Cape Town based opportunity.

Â

Core involvement includes:

Responsibility for the financial accounting and controls of various legal entities within the business.
Control and oversight of the General ledger of the entities
Annual Budgeting, quarterly and ad-hoc forecasting and reporting to management
Responsible for audit liaison and preparation of annual financial statements to strict Audit and Risk Committee timelines
Provide technical IFRS advice on finance-related matters
Compliance with tax, legislative & statutory requirements
Assist with ad-hoc projects in Finance. Provide Accounting and Tax input.

This role is suited to:

A quality CA(SA) + 5-10 years post qualified experience
Financial services experience essential
Solid exposure to / understanding of IFRS and Tax, and technical application
