SUMMARY:
Our client operating within the Pharmaceuticals industry is looking to appoint someone as the Finance Manager for their Midrand based Finance team. Essentially, the Finance Manager will be responsible for full Finance function of the company. If you are the ideal candidate for this vacancy, please apply!

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Honours degree in Financial Management and/or relevant equivalent
Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) designation is advantageous
Minimum 5 years’ working experience in a similar Finance Manager position within the Pharmaceuticals and/or Agricultural sector
Advanced JD Edwards and Microsoft Excel software skills are highly advantageous

Job description & Skills:

Overseeing the performance management of the Finance department including the controlling, accounting, cash, and/or tax
Facilitating the risk and opportunity management for the local Finance organisation
Monitoring the implementation of internal controls, systems, and procedures in accordance within the Group framework
Ensuring the maintenance and/or development of local tools and processes
Providing budgeting, forecasting, and business planning with the ability to integrate and leverage the various parts of the organisation
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislative and/or regulatory requirements
Managing administration as well assisting with the related general auxiliary support functions
Liaising with auditors and stakeholders to support shareholder value management
