Finance Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading, multi-national, FMCG company that is growing exponentially in Africa and South Africa, is seeking to appoint a FINANCIAL MANAGER responsible for the planning, co-ordinating and execution of annual budget, year-end financial statements and annual insurance returns.

POSITION INFO:

• Perform daily and monthly financial accounting procedures. Verify reasonability of monthly income statement, balance sheet & cash flow entries. Maintain master data to facilitate management reporting.
• Knowledge of financial accounting to include foreign currency, hedge and lease accounting
• Perform internal control procedures. Manages liaison with the internal auditors and administer the completion of open internal and external audit findings. Prepare risk reporting on risk management tool and engagement with risk owners. Attend stock takes, verify assets, check internal controls and provide training w.r.t. financial systems, policies & procedures at production sites country wide.
• Supporting the business from a finance perspective in terms of IFRS and Tax. Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards/legislation.

• Post Graduate Degree in Finance
• CA(SA) in FMCG or CIMA qualification will be an advantage
• 3 years’ experience Financial Management in FMCG
• Computer literacy (MS Advanced Excel / Word / SAP / SAP Business Intelligence Portal
