SUMMARY:
An upbeat and fast-growing Financial Services Provider is looking to employ an outgoing and confident Financial Manager to join their team. The company provides Financial Solutions to Local and International clients and would suit a candidate looking to learn, grow and reach their full potential in a finance role.

POSITION INFO:

Review the work of and manage a team of bookkeepers /accountants in delivering the following:

Monthly management accounts

Annual financial statements for submission to Companies House (UK) or SARS (SA)

Payroll function for SA and UK clients

VAT and Income Tax reconciliations to SARS (SA) and HMRC (UK)

Individual Tax Returns for

Manage the output and workflow of the team in performing the tasks outlined above

Meetings / Zoom calls with clients providing accounting advice

Development of cash flow forecasts and budgets and variance analysis

Ensure the team meet deadlines throughout the year

Train the team and new team members in performing the tasks outlined above

Onboarding and setting up the process flow for new clients

Communication with and management of the relationship with clients

Skills & Experience:

At least 3 years accounting experience in a similar role

Able to manage a team

XERO systems experience is advantageous

Qualification:

Newly Qualified CA(SA) OR

Completed SAICA Articles

BCom Financial Accounting or similar
