Finance Manager

We have an exciting position available for a CA(SA) as a Financial Manager in the Fourways area. 

The Financial Manager is responsible to perform an accurate and efficient month-end close, to produce and analyse all monthly/quarterly Financial reports and to ensure the tax, cash management; internal audit, external audit and Budget/Planning processes all run effectively and comply to required legislation while
meeting all deadlines. The Financial Manager provides decision support to the Sales and Operations teams and gives input to the ROI (Return on Investment) process and profitability analysis for new and current products.
This position provides oversight to the Financial Accountants, Financial Analysts, in setting the direction, enforcing policies, driving best practices and overseeing efficiency. The Financial Manager works closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Head of Shared Services, the Financial Modeller, the Finance Manager. Operations and the rest of the business to ensure the organisation’s strategic goals and performance
objectives are met.

Requirements:

• CA(SA)
• 5-7 years of experience in a Financial environment;
• 3-5 years’ experience supervising a team of 3 or more direct reports;
• Experience in Oracle Financials preferable.
• Tax knowledge

• Provision of decision support to the CFO and executive team.
• Super-user for GL and overall responsibility for the effective management of the Oracle system
