POSITION INFO:
Job & Company Description:
My client, who is one of the top Logistics providers, is looking for an Finance Manager to take on a 12 month contract role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Assisting with queries on IFRS 16
Assisting with the biannual IFRS 9 calculations
Attending to queries from head office and auditors
Assisting with queries on monthly reporting, budgets and forecasts
Analysis of data
Investigation and interrogation of data
Assisting the General Manager and Financial Manager as required
Assisting with reporting packages and preparation of monthly proofs
Assisting with data for acquisitions
Assisting with quarterly recon
Preparing budget presentations
Assisting with queries on the bi-annual forecasts

Education:

CA(SA) (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum 2 years' experience
Proficiency in Excel
Strong analytical and evaluation ability
Strong accounting and consolidations application
Up to date and sound IFRS knowledge and application (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
Hyperion experience (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong planning and organisational skills
