SUMMARY:
Responsible for the distribution of financial resources of the Company, to analyse everyday financial activities, responsible for the budget planning and supports the management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make sound business decisions and meet the Companyâ€™s objectives.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements

Must be a CA (SA) with a BCom or related Degree

Minimum 5 years post articles experience

Must have ISO and Tax experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

All duties take place in accordance with the Maintenance Manuals of the suppliers, the Concession Contract, Occupational Health and Safety Act and other relevant legislation.

1. Oversee the preparation of financial reports / Management accounts. On a monthly basis, complete management accounts, prepares balance sheets, profit and loss accounts and cash flow forecasts;

2. Provide the CEO with sound financial advice that contributes significantly to the overall profitability of the Company’s operations;

3. Monitor and control the flow of cash receipts and disbursements to meet the business and investment needs of the firm;

4. Implement and maintain cash management strategies;

5. Assist with the preparation of financial reports that summarize and forecast the organization''s financial position, such as income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future earnings or expenses and cash requirements;

6. Asset management;

7. Give input for provision of information on budgeting process – in order to consolidate, evaluate and present final budget for approval;

8. Ensure that the tax and regulatory requirements are attended to and complied with;

9. Ensure the integrity and soundness of accounting information;

10. Oversee and control debtors and creditor functions;

11. Review cost centers for reasonableness in order to set standards and understand trends;

12. Responsible for the Month-End closure, Ensure control of bank account, cash management account and petty cash/e-wallet;

13. Develop financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk;

14. Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out;
