SUMMARY:
A leading company in the mining sector is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to take charge of financial reporting and compliance while managing a team of five direct reports. This Midrand-based role offers an exciting opportunity for a CA(SA) professional with strong leadership skills and a technical finance background to drive financial excellence in a fast-paced environment.

POSITION INFO:
Our client, a well-established mining company, is looking for a Financial Manager with a strong technical background to oversee financial reporting, ensure compliance with IFRS, and provide strategic financial insights. This role will play a key part in managing audits, preparing financial statements, and leading a high-performing finance team to support business growth.
Job Experience and Skills Required:

CA(SA) qualification is essential
Minimum 5 years post-articles experience in a financial management role
Industry experience in mining, manufacturing, or related sectors preferred
Strong expertise in financial reporting, IFRS, and compliance
Proven leadership experience with 5 direct reports
Ability to manage audits, month-end processes, and financial analysis
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
