SUMMARY:
An established real estate and investment institution, with decades in the game, is looking for a Finance & Tax Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this individual must have experience in and exposure to corporate tax, international tax, VAT and Carbon Tax.

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

REIT related calculations
Controlled Foreign Companies
International Tax - Transfer pricing & Carbon Tax assessments
Group tax computations
IFRS & Consolidations
Tax returns and SARS engagement
Financial reporting of tax transactions
Tax submissions to audit committee and board
Normal and deferred tax calculations
Assist with budgeting process
Tax planning

Education:

Postgraduate in Tax (NOT NEGOTIABLE)
CA(SA) – NB!

Experience:

10 – 15 years in Corporate tax (post articles)
Financial Services/Investment management/Property experience – NB!
IFRS 4, 17 & Tax Legislation & Regulations
Managerial experience is NB!
