POSITION INFO:

• Ensure accurate maintenance of external bursary accounts, which include Invoicing, allocation, collection and reconciliations.
• Make appropriate adjustments to student accounts and in accordance to NMU policies by means of journals/refunds.
• Responsible for problem solving of disputed accounts.
• Run validation reports to identify risks and irregularities on the fee accounts
• Responsible for the preparation of quotations
• Action written and verbal enquiries.

CORE COMPETENCIES

• Knowledge of MS Word. Outlook and Excel
• Financial Management skills
• Good analytical skills/Problem solving
• Ability to communicate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Integrated Tertiary Software (ITS)

REQUIREMENTS

In order to be considered for appointment to this post, candidate must have

• Grade 12 with at least a minimum of 2 - 5 years’ experience in a financial administration environment.
• National Diploma in Accounting or Cost Management Accounting and exposure in Higher learning education environment will be an added advantage.
