Finance / Operations Development Manager

SUMMARY:
A leading organisation in the financial services environment is looking for an experienced Finance / Operations Development Manager to lead the development and optimisation of core finance systems and operational platforms. This role will focus on managing multi-branded finance systems, driving innovation across finance operations, and leading development teams to deliver scalable and reliable technology solutions.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and prioritise IT development initiatives within finance operations
• Lead a team of developers and technical specialists to deliver business-critical systems
• Oversee the roadmap and development of finance platforms and operational systems
• Allocate resources effectively to support ongoing system innovation and improvement
• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, IT, and operations
• Ensure that system development aligns with business strategy and operational objectives

• 5+ years' experience in system development or IT development leadership
• Strong background in RPG / IBM AS400 environments
• Experience managing finance or operational systems
• Exposure to the financial services industry (banking, insurance, or financial services)
• Experience managing development teams and delivering complex systems

• Experience working with multi-brand financial platforms
• Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
