SUMMARY:
A automotive company is looking for a strong Finance Operations Specialist.

POSITION INFO:

Accurately prepare monthly and annual financial results in terms of IFRS and management reporting,
Coordination of, and Timely and accurate reporting to holding company,
Timely and accurate variance analysis and meaningful explanations
Ensure TSAM is compliant in terms of statutory requirements (SOX, IFRS, CO’s Act),
Coordination and Preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
Timely reconciliation preparations
Monthly presentations to management
Liaising with Holding company regarding queries
Accurate SAP month end close procedures
Maintenance of SAP GL accounts.
Adhoc – Supporting requests from management
Coordinating and supporting audits from external auditors
Knowledge and understanding of the trial balance (Back to Basics)
Analysis and understanding of general ledger accounts
IFRS technical expert - New Accounting policy preparation and adoption
Financial Statement disclosure and preparation in terms of IFRS
Completion of various surveys
Preparation of information to support BBBEE requests
Group & company financial statements consolidation
Post retirement benefit accounting
Embedded derative understanding & calculation
Cashflow preparation in terms of IFRS
Financial Instruments understanding & disclosure
Capitalisation of borrowing costs calculation & disclosure
APDP understanding and accounting thereof

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

CA(SA), (Articles in Big 4 firm)
ERP system experience (SAP) – Maintenance & operational
2 – 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
2-3 years manufacturing experience
2 – 3 years AFS preparation ito IFRS
Demonstrate good management skills.
Advanced computer literacy (Essential) (MS Excel)
Good business acumen (Advantageous)
Overtime will be required
