POSITION INFO:

Requirements

ï‚· BCom finance honours

ï‚· Recently qualified Chartered Accountant advantageous.

ï‚· International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) experience in the Financial Services sector

ï‚· Oracle Financials and Hyperion Financial Management experience is advantageous.

ï‚· At least 3 years’ relevant experience

ï‚· Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills

Duties A. Data Governance

ï‚· Create, implement and maintain chart of account policies.

ï‚· Create, implement and maintain Master Data Management. (including Data Security)

ï‚· Streamlining of master data.

ï‚· Contributes to data analysis/design.

ï‚· Review the chart of accounts and ensure it aligns to the latest Accounting standards.

ï‚· Provide business with guidance regarding the use of general ledger accounts. B. Reporting

ï‚· Providing support to IT developers and business stakeholders regarding the build and delivery of new designs.

ï‚· Implements changes to the financial infrastructure and relevant supporting applications and supports finance, banking and accounting disciplines. C. Personal effectiveness

ï‚· Accountable for service delivery through own efforts

ï‚· Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality over periods of 1 day to a maximum of three months.

ï‚· Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills.

ï‚· Collaborates effectively with others to achieve goals.

ï‚· Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines D. Other

ï‚· Gains business and system knowledge and keeps abreast of new developments.
