A reputable and growing concern in the retail industry is looking for a Finance Specialist in Financial Analysis to join their team and develop the financial analysis department within in the team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with the marketing and procurement units to develop forecast sales and expenditure and providing feedback on the performance of cost centers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing the forecasts and annual budgets, identifying and monitoring cost saving opportunities and driving these through strategic implementation as well as perform inventory analysis. The successful candidate will also be responsible for performing in depth analysis of the marketing campaigns and providing recommendations.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 3-5 years post article experience
• Experience in the retail industry is preferred
• Experience in working with the marketing and sales department would be advantageous
• Ability to drive sales, growth, and efficiencies
• Ability to maximize profitability
• Working knowledge of PowerBI/Advanced Excel would be advantageous
• Eager and willing to learn
• Excellent people management and leadership skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
